2 years ago, I inherited this sad Fiddle Leaf Fig from my parents. It had been in their home for at least a decade and before that, it had resided in my Grandparents house. I felt pity for this poor thing and decided to give it another shot at looking pretty.
After doing a fair amount of research and watching YouTube videos on the proper care and feeding of Fiddle Leaf Figs, I pruned it, put it on a correct watering schedule next to a bright window and waited patiently. Several weeks ago I took the plunge. I root-pruned and gave him a new home in this gorgeous pot that I had been eyeing ever since I brought the plant home 2 years ago.

He looks fantastic and I'm excited to see how much growing he will do this summer. I think I'll name him Figgy. Really unique name, right? He is now officially part of the family.
